It’s official! I’m ordering my gnu peecee this week. Most exciting is the 4 gigs of ram and a 24 in wide screen. Yup, decided to go with Dell again. From everything that I researched, their wide screen monitors have high marks and good reviews. groovy.
Sooo, you know what this means? I need to do a major cleaning in here, most definitely. And major backing up… although for the first time I’m going to try that LapLink, PCMover software. Should be fine, yes? With the last move, I networked my old tower to this one, which was kind of cool, but then I wasn’t giving the old system to anyone else.
Hohum. My eyeballs are really bugging me today. Ever get that from being on the pc too long? I never did before, but maybe it’s accumulative? (or age!)

Very neat; congratulations!! All we have are Dells… just worked out that way, and we’ve never been sorry. Let us know how PCMover works… If it’s better than imaging a drive I’d be interested…
