countdown for real

by Kitty on November 16, 2007

Yes, today is the last smoke-till-I-choke day. When I wake up tomorrow and make my way to Starbucks before I save lives, there will be no more cig on the way. I am totally prepared for this. Chantix is making me a tad nauseated, but I can live with it. So. You will see my ‘Quit Meter” up here tomorrow, although I realize it’s most important to me, not to you.

I found a cute site yesterday. Not necessarily for us married gals, but funny all the same – Dear Husband. A single woman’s letter to her soon to be, wherever he is, husband.

Anyway. Must get busy. Sometimes I do so many client updates, there’s little time left for new clients… or at the least, requires very skilled juggling manuevers.

Have a great weekend everyone. All ready for Turkey Day?

    Yes.

I am sooooo ready for real food. Better have a really large doggie bag for yer old mum. I will be taking full advantage of 1) a free meal, 2) leftovers in a brown bag, and 3) lots and lots of chewing, gnawing and tearing of turkey flesh with my new tooth. What fun!

    Luv U muchly,
    Mum xox

    Good luck to you, Kitty.

YOU can do it! Say goodbye to those delightful nasties. K?

Keep that tiny piece of paper or index card I suggested to you in your pocket or purse (list of positives things) to peek at when you’re having a tough time. (A.K.A. Jones’n) Drink water, chew gum, chew on a straw, keep fresh veggies around you to munch on. (I love mushrooms- they are like vegetarian bread. chunky chewy filler-uppers with no calories) bike riding….(exercising) really does miracles physically and spiritually. (did/does for me) Walk!

Every morning silently go over things in your mind regarding the world and in your life you are thankful for. Say thank you to the universe everyday. Come up with a positive life-affirming mantra to loop over in your mind…

Don’t put anything in your mouth that you wouldn’t put into a babies. Babies don’t smoke or over-eat.

You are a precious gift, Kitty. I want you to be around and HEALTHY for a long long time. K?

Happy Thanksgiving and all that wonderful jazz.
