Favre with the Jets. Dang. I know that I haven’t said a word about the Brett controversy the last 2 weeks or so. Just thought I’d wait it out. Mixed feelings about the whole thing. Ya, it’s sad. I’m sad for Brett, sad for us – the fans, and sad for the team. Yes, I do think he brought the whole mess on himself. I do believe that he thought that he would be welcomed back in a nano second with open arms – to the team that is (we already know that his fans would). I think Mike McCarthy did the right thing for his players and for Aaron Rodgers.
What a mess. I’m just glad that he’ll be in the AFC, at least we won’t have to play against him, or the likelihood is very slim. ::sigh:: No matter what they call him… “drama queen” “cry baby” – yes, I’ve seen all of the email jokes – I still love him ‘cos he’ll always be a star. We’ll just bleep out this last part, k?
