Have a few minutes to kill while I wait to go save lives... actually, should probably leave earlier anyway 'cos they're painting the parking structure so we have to park in the back 40 and walk. And by the time I get my coffee supply for the weekend, should be just about time.

I feel pretty damn good tonite. All day it felt like Friday (I was saving lives), and then every time I remembered that it wasn't, I got excited all over again that I was actually OFF tomorrow.

I know that probably sounds kind of funny coming from someone who only saves lives a couple of days a month to begin with... and the fact of the matter is that I'm off on Friday 'cos it's my marathon weekend.

Oh well, it made me happyhappy regardless. Kind of like starting my week all over again.

I keep thinking Lucy is sleeping in the chair over there and wondering why she isn't in bed, then I remember that it's just a pillow on the chair. That pillow is never there. Lucy usually is.

Did you know that today is officially the last day of summer? *weep* And it's absolutely gorgeous out there! dang. I'm gonna miss days like this indeed.

I just got so caught up in the weather that I forgot what I was going to say.
