Man, why the hot flash all of a sudden? Hey, know what I just discovered? Our televisions have had the picture-in-picture capabilities forever, but because of our cable box, could never utilize it. So I’m thinkin’, hmmm, how am I going to watch what I’ve been looking forward to watching for the last 72 hrs and still see Phelps do his thing tonite? Yup, tried out the PIP and it works now! Must be the digital cable thing that makes it possible, ya think? I know, but it’s the little things in life.
I’ve also been putzin’ around FMG the last couple of nites, and as is customary when I do something new, I send out a brief little email to my peoples. Now, I’ve had a mailing list with NotifyList for-Ever. Their site itself hasn’t been updated in at least 5 yrs, but it has continued to work. Alas, I think it finally died. Never did get my own copy of the email that I sent out 2 nites ago. Bummer. As you can imagine, after having visitors sign up for the last… 7-9 yrs or so, I had quite a mailing list. But, on the bright side, I’m sure many, many, many of the email addresses are long gone, so I’ll just start over.
I’m also a teeny-tiny on the verge of redoing FMG… eh, maybe not. Lotsa work. Plus, last time I lost everything, I had to just do the main pag — nevermind! Gotta GO – it’s ON!
YAY!!! I’m so glad you are adding things to FMG!! I’ve been a fan for several years and you are an inspiration. I wrote to you when we were starting our children’s museum site in 2004 here in sunny (hot) Southern California and I find myself checking your blogs every other month or so and was so happy to see that you are back – for some reason I am not on your email list (yeah, I’m not a stalker – really!! ha ha). I was born and raised in Milwaukee although it is totally different now – haven’t been back there in over 10 years or so – but I still have cousins there. Even my old high school (Notre Dame) is gone. Anyway, glad you’re back and thanks for the great stuff you share with peeps like me. HUGS to a fellow web lover and Milwaukee-an!
