So I keep holding up paint chips from my vantage point in here… hold it up to the kitchen area, down to the counter pieces on my desk… with one eye open and the other squinty. Why do we do that? Close one eye to visualize the scene better? Does it really work? More in focus? You know, thumb in the air and one eyeball look a la artiste?
I think part of me wants to take this opportunity to go darker with the paint… I want to be cool and trendy and do the dark paint thing, at least on one wall. I want to be David Bromstad and create a “Color Splash.” But I honestly don’t think it will fit in my kitchen-into-the-dining-room color scheme. Very frustrating. poo.
Oh well, it will eventually come to me. Eventually. Everything will come together in the next month and I’ll be a happy camper, right?
OH, and art vs craft was groovy. Was cool ‘cos I met Dwellephant (from the interview) and Kelle & Matt from My Favorite Mirror. Bought some AshleyG coasters… awww, so cute. Speaking of art, Jennie is doing some live painting at this summer’s Gallery Night event. That should be fun.
Ok then. That should do it for now. Onward! This is going to be a get down, get dirty sort of work day. Must catch up! Have a great weekend all.
