Hi again. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m trying to get back into writing things in here. Facebook friends don’t care really. It’s another era. I just want to chat a bit. I wanna ask you guys things. I miss that.
SO. If I were to continue things from the past, as in FMG stuff… what the heck could I make? What kind of graphics does anyone need anymore? I’m kind of lost. It’s all so sterile. right? How can you stand out, be different, be an individual on the web? Help me out, ok? Let me know my friends XOXO

Your graphics have always been so beautifully unique. 1) Create a set of the chat icons like they have in Bitmoji. (I have no idea how to share them, or even what kind of file they are, but people are turning them out by the dozens all the time.) They would be one-of-a-kind, for sure, you have so many ready to adapt already in existence. 2) Create a FB group for people to join and interact with you and each other. That’s the 1st two I thought of! (P.S. Are you familiar with creating and running a group? I’ll be glad to help you get set up, if you need it?)
Hey Jan,
Thanks for your feedback!
Funny thing, I didn’t realize you had commented, and last night I had a dream about FMG and how I could redo it as well as all of the variations that the site has gone through. When I came in here – lo & behold – here you were!
I had my own group as well as hosting it – do you remember “FullMoon Webs”?
Thanks again Jan for some ideas!

I’m surprised no one has any ideas. :(
Hi! I’m so glad your website is still around. I used to use your graphics to make journals for school and eventually learned to code websites for myself. Long story short, got into a career of graphic design that led to software. So, thanks!
As for your question, I think things like desktop wallpapers and phone backgrounds are appreciated as freebies. But also making art and sharing that is cool too.
Cheers,
T
Hey Tee,
That’s very cool! Funny how things turn out. Ditto with my desire to “do” something on FMG again. I get the urge, then life goes on and I don’t go anywhere with it. My daughter always says if I really want to, I will. ?
Good ideas T, thanks!
take care,
~Kitty
Nice to see you here. You’re one of the people who inspired me to become a web designer like 20 years ago because I love your style. Now, it’s all the same websites and people accept them and pay for it. As I’m trying to go back to work after my mom had an accident and I’m absolutely penniless, I’ve tried to remember how to code and all that and try to give a more original and pretty style. I truly hate what responsive mobile-first design has done to web design. Nobody’s original anymore, but I hope that I can offer people something that’s pretty to see. :)
Oh my goodness, bless your little graphic heart! That’s how I feel! I loved doing my stuff. Sites like ours are so much more interesting, aren’t they? Now most websites are simply for business – giv’em the info – 1,2,3, – and get outta there. I suppose. It’s their business, that’s why they have their website. They could still make it pretty along the way.
Thanks for writing E. Hope your Mom heals well.
