Here Kitty Kitty...

Oooo, playing with a few plug-ins here – that’s a random header image thingie up there. fun.

I gotta tell ya something that I did tonite before I hit the hay. Went to the dentist, yet again, and he did a couple of crown preps, ok? That’s kind of besides the point, but it’s an extra reason that I was swishing water around in my mouth after I ate some cottage cheese… I do it rather frequently anyway if I don’t brush my teeth right after eating (ok, ok, I’m getting to it, hold yer horses!).

So I went into the kitchen, put our bowls in the sink, and scooped up some water in my mouth to swish it around and rinse. When I bent down to dry my mouth off on the hanging towel, I spit all of the water out on the kitchen floor – *pitooey* – just like that. And I paused for a second to wonder what the hell just happened? Just “pfoo” all over the floor. ha!

I don’t know what I thought I was doing… maybe bending down to wipe my mouth off before I spit in the sink threw me off or something. I cracked me up.

Well, I thought it was pretty funny anyway…

Ya know, I’m not really tired. Why do I have to go to bed now? I know I’ll just lay there and it will take me awhile to fall asleep.

The other nite I felt the same way, but since it was almost 4 o’clock, I thought I’d better. Well, something was up with Lucy. She couldn’t get comfortable and settle down, something was buggin’ her. She’d lay there for a second, then all of a sudden she’d dive into her crotch and start licking or biting or something. She kept doing it, so I even sat up, grabbed the flashlight, and looked around her little peepee to see if anything was weird (or bugs! ewww), but everything looked fine.

I finally fell asleep, and she was fine in the morning. Don’t know what that was all about, but it was annoying at the time.

Oh well, I s’pose I might as well go to bed, or I’ll be tired tomorrow. Besides, I want to get an early start in the morning.

Greetings! Thought I’d peek in and say hey. What’s new in Kitty Land?

• I found a gray hair in my eyebrow
• My microwave is sounding more n’ more like there’s a truck backing up in my kitchen
• I finally learned to put the ice IN my tea glass before I fill the ice trays, then try to grab the ice with wet hands
• I’m actually getting up before 8 a.m.
• But I’m still going to bed late
• I have appointments and meetings up the ying-yang these days
• I’m also requiring a 5 shot Venti Americano (Espresso and hot water) lately to enjoy the flavor. And no, I don’t bounce off the walls.

And that’s about sums it up. Of course, still busy with the biz, which is ok. OH, and we don’t have to go get our taxes done tonite as originally planned. Big relief ‘cos I don’t have anything ready!

Took Mumsy and myself to the store. I have such a craving for a big ‘ol salad with the works. Thing is, salad stuff is kinda fluffy for my stomach/nutrition, but at least I’ll put some sunflower seeds and cheese in it and still get good protein, ya know?

Lastly, I bought a CD from Starbucks that I’ve been lookin’ at for awhile now, mainly for the Otis Redding song, “These Arms of Mine.” Love that song. I kept playing it over and over in the car, singin’ along. Made me feel really happy. Kinda sexy too. mmm…
