Yay! They just delivered my latest haul of Yankee tarts. Remember when I said how I wasn’t going to the Yankee store anymore because of the increase in tart prices ($1.59 each)? This woman has tons, and for the ones that I like, most are 99 cents. I’m so excited.
Then, I was glancing at one of my RT magazines, and there’s a new anti-smoking med on the horizon, called Varenicline tartrate. Sounds v-e-r-y promising. Not only does it mimic nicotine, if you smoke while using it, you don’t get the normal effect ‘cos the med is sitting in your normal *nicotine spots* — hoggin’ all the good space.
I know that most of you guys around here don’t even smoke, but for the few that may, it sounds pretty damn good to me. Of course, if they made a pill to take away the mental cravings, I’d be 1st in line for sure!
Speaking of… did I tell you that I won a contest to redesign our Respiratory Care State Society web site as well as a new logo for it? Honestly, if you saw the current/old one, it looks like it’s a demo on what NOT to do when creating a web site. oy! (the new one isn’t up yet)
Anyhoo. Yes, been fairly quiet on the Kitty home front here. Nothing really happening except for the usual, ya know?
So until next time….
