Where do bugs sleep? Seriously.
Hubby was surprised that I had picked so many tomatoes already early this morning and I said it was because there’s no bugs around at that time. I know that bees have their little nests or hives or whatever, but what about flies and just regular bugs? And do they really sleep?
Just curious….

It just occurred to me after visiting my AnnieBananie that a few weeks ago I posted a link on my FB page that I am quite sure that some of you may enjoy… at least one or 2 of you.
Daniel Karcher, his bluedaniel site. I can just click on the main page and watch the little film, but more importantly than that, the musical compilation just blows me away! I don’t know what it is, a little melancholy, kid-like, times past, where I would like to be… I am just so so in love with it. I would like to dream to that music.
Today is one of those “I-can’t-get-going-no-matter-what-I-do” kind o’ day. Unfortunately, I can’t feel that way too long because work is work, ya know? No workie, no money.
The weather has been pretty awesome the last few days, and I thought maybe breathing some fresh stuff and absorbing a little sunshine might help my brain cells, so I asked hubby to take me to Starbucks on the bike.
So, took a little ride, had a little caffeine, soaked up a little sun, and now I’m ready for a nap. ha. Ever do that? Been on vacation, especially to a rural, nature surrounded place, then when you get home you exclaim how tired you are and that it “must be from all of that fresh air”? No? Well, I know what I mean.

I had a little Woodstock party today. Just me and Lucy and Rosie. They’re the only other people I know that like the music. Jennie does, but she’s not here.
I was thinking about that on my way home from Starbucks… I don’t really have any close friends that are into what I’m into, ya know? That think like I do… or like Woodstock. How can you not like Woodstock? or peace n’ luv n’ stuff?
That’s a bummer.
Hubby? Nah, he was a “greaser” back in the day. He chased little hippies like me.
But seriously, wouldn’t that have been a perfect theme for a party? For the Woodstock Anniversary? Excellent playlist of tunes… could have all sorts of yummy munchies… and stuff. Nah, not that kind o’ stuff. I was actually never into pot. Made me feel introverted and I was far from introverted and didn’t like feeling that way. But I do love the smell!
So ya, we had our little party. The girls fell asleep when I played Joni Mitchell… I think they were worn out from all of the excitement.
