Un-freakin’ believable. The party today at the Stadium was just for H.O.G. members. This was definitely bigger than the 100th HD Anniversay. And the weather was great – yay. Of course this itty-bitty photo doesn’t really portray the massive volume of bikes that just kept pouring in. I did attempt to take a video of it… wanna see?
My feet are killin’ me though. I made a big mistake and wore new boots. duh. The rest of the week I’m stickin’ with the tennies!
Does this look like the girl is giving the finger? That’s what one of FMG’s visitors wrote to tell me, “WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF SOME WOMAN GIVING THE FINGER? PRETTY CRUDE.” Ya, in all caps too. Whatever. Coulda been a joke too… I hope it was.
Hey, guess what. *News Alert* My retired hubby has joined the working force once again. He was more-or-less personally invited, pleaded with, to come back to a job he had 40 years ago! Metal Spinning. Manually. It’s really a lost art these days, and when he was talking with one of the guys that he used to work with about the Harley thing (and who still works at the place) he got the scoop about how they needed someone. Soooo, given our present situation with the no-saving-lives-anymore-kittykitty and no health benefits, he thought, “what the hell” and climbed aboard.
Can I get a YAYmen! Hallelujah! Although I am a little sad that I’m losing my Cabana Boy. Sure has been nice these last couple of years having him do everything around here. Oh, he’ll still do his thing, just not as much. s’ok, didn’t really want to be a Barista anyway.

OMG. 3 days from now. Are you aware of the significance of that day(s) in history? (of course I know that most of my readers are). Yup, 39, THIRTY-NINE people, years ago was Woodstock.
I’m so excited because once again VH1-classic will air the original movie, Saturday & Sunday. I guess next year for the 40th Anniversary, Warner Home Video is planning the Ultimate Collectors Edition DVD of the event ($$$). Groovy.

Now I don’t want y’all to fall over or anything, but I just did an interview over on Artbeat Street with Lilla Rogers. Not only is she a rep for some w-a-a-y cool artists, but she is also an illustrator, teacher and multi-multi talented lady on her very own. Take a look.
Another biggie here in town that I haven’t mentioned is the big HD 105th. 2 weeks away! I took vacation time over a year ago, although now I don’t have to worry about it – ha. Going to be crazy, I love it. We’re only about 2 miles from the HD factory (which is across the street from Miller headquarters, which is another story – OH, excuse me, Miller/Coors), so the sound of pipes is constant. Cool. And did you see the lineup of bands and activities for all 4 days? Well, why would you if you’re not going to be here… but trust me, it’s wild.
And don’t tell me this is a happy face. This is not the Brett I’m used to seeing, and I don’t just mean the Jets Jersey. Ya, I’m sure he’s exhausted, but really…
I am so thrilled to discover something that I just had to share it with someone. I discovered the magic of working with and adjusting levels in Photoshop. Yes, levels. I know, I know… well duh to me. Seriously, I had 2 pieces of scanned artwork that I had to merge together, and the colors didn’t match up. Well I just whipped out that level adjustment, messed around for a bit, and Voila! I got them to match! I am so excited. :)
Want to know about something else? A couple of weeks ago I bought a brand new, in the box, Krup’s Mini Espresso/Cappuccino maker I found on Craig’s list – for $10 – and it is soooo yummy. Easy to make and froth up my milk… mm-mm-good.
A-n-ddd, last but certainly not least, my LR is almost done! In fact, it would have been done had our contractor not calculated incorrectly and had one more piece of oak for the ceiling beams… so now he’ll have to finish it on Monday. poo. It looks really cool. Can’t wait to show you.
